Dr. Tammy Chen earned both her undergrad and dental degree with honors at New York University through an accelerated 7-year combined program. Continuing her studies at NYU, she decided to specialize in prosthodontics, receiving advanced training during her post-doctoral studies. Holding a professorship at her alma mater, since graduating she has become a clinical faculty member in prosthodontics. Recipient of the American College of Prosthodontics Award, Panadent Teaching Award, and David B. Kriser Award for her diligence and thorough expertise, during her dental training, Dr. Chen developed an outreach program uniting a team of dentists, nurses and other health care professionals to provide free dental and healthcare to underserved communities in Nicaragua, and has since participated in various outreach programs worldwide. With a strong belief in providing the best possible oral care to her patients, Dr. Chen remains current with the latest advancements in her field as an active member of the American College of Prosthodontics and the American Dental Association. When she’s not performing exceptional quality care, Dr. Chen loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
Awarded the Samuel Charles Miller Award for the highest degree of knowledge and skill in the science of periodontology, as well as the Arthur N. Caplin Scholarship Award for outstanding academic achievements in the discipline of removable prosthodontics, Dr. Cote is recognized as an exemplary periodontist. Enthusiastic about remaining on the leading edge of the latest research, techniques, and technology in the field, Dr. Cote is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Education Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (a dental honors society), New York State Dental Association, Bronx County Dental Society, and Global Public Health Council. When Dr. Cote isn’t busy providing state-of-the-art oral care, he enjoys tasting fine wines, and spending time with his two Pomeranians.
